An excellent game involving two good sides ended in a 3-3 stalemate on Saturday, the result also all but ended both teams’ chances of promotion this season. Huddersfield took no time in defrosting after the recent cold snap with a hammering of Leeds Carnegie at the Adel Memorial ground. Seven games now unbeaten keeps Huddersfield top of the table and still with games in hand.

After a prolonged meeting the members of Huddersfield Hockey Club have voted overwhelming in favour of merging with Lockwood Park Dragons Hockey Club.
Whilst our meeting was being undertaken the Dragons had their EGM and have voted in favour of merging with us as well.

All matches at Lockwood park have already been called off for Saturday. Away matches will either be called off tonight or tomorrow morning depending on the time of fixture and when the oposition captain can be bothered to check their pitch!
