Huddersfield completed a fantastic double header weekend which sees them extend their lead at the top of the Yorkshire Premier League to four points with a game in hand.  Huddersfield were at their very best dominating from start to finish.  Hirst opened the scoring from a Jimmy Swinden cross and Gregory smashed home to double the lead after a goal mouth scramble.  Swinden then played a sublime pass to pick out a Hirst run which found him one on one with the keeper who he slotted past for 3 - 0 at half time.

Ben Rhydding had a short spell of pressure early in the second half and got a goal back but then Jimmy Swinden capped a man of the match performance with two goals, one a stunning reverse stick shot into the roof of the net.  Huddersfield were then awarded two penalty flicks as Swinden was brought down by the keeper, Peachey converted and then Kelly had a goal bound shot saved by a defenders body and he stepped up and made it seven one.  Hirst then completed his hat trick when Roberston picked him out in the area and he dinked it past the keeper and tapped in from close range.

9 games unbeaten now with 8 of those wins.  Huddersfield now have five home games and two away to secure the league title.  Four wins would probably be enough and a big step would be a win next week against their nearest rivals York at home.
